How Can the Refugee Volunteering Development Project Help my Organisation?
Volunteers are essential to the work of Refugee Community Organisations (RCOs), who often depend on their volunteers' great generosity and commitment.
Building on the success of a pilot project in West London, The Evelyn Oldfield Unit is running a three year Volunteering Development Project across London funded by the Big Lottery Fund. The Volunteering Development Project (VDP) has been developed to support refugee led community organisations (RCOs) in London to:
- Improve their volunteer management
- Increase funding for volunateering
- Improve links and share expertise with mainstream agencies
There are three aspects to the project: Training, Consultancy and the Volunteer Sharing Scheme. Please follow the links on the left of the screen for further details.
If you want to get involved with the project, are interested in receiving a free consultancy or training, or if you just want to go on our mailing list for information, please contact the Volunteering Development Project Manager, Komlan Gnamatsi:
